I almost hate that I love everything about this trailer! Let’s talk about Zac Efron for a moment, shall we? This kid used to be a Disney poster child (he still is to certain degree) and now he’s starting to branch out. Unlike Hilary Duff, he might actually become much more than a lot of us expected. Once again, this is an opportunity for him to stretch his actor wings and fly away from the likes of the High School Musical franchise. I loved him in 17 Again. Charlie St. Cloud will be an entirely different beast for Efron to tackle, but I honestly feel that he will only get better with each film he does.
This movie looks like it will be super touching… yeah, I’m a girl. Get over it.
Zac Efron is already a star, but I’m positive this kid will be a Hollywood Heavy Weight in no time.
This is probably one of the coolest trailers I have seen in a very long time. From the second this thing started I thought, “Oh politician gets caught up in an affair with a woman and chaos ensues.” Granted, that’s exactly what is going on, but not in the way you may think. There is an organization called the Adjustment Bureau and they watch everything and make sure the world goes “According to Plan.” This drama has some science fiction edge to it and I couldn’t be happier. This sort of reminds me of the Matrix in the way that you will start to look at the world around you in a much different light.
I haven’t been this excited about a trailer in a LONG time. Emily Blunt is destined to become a big star and she is definitely on her way up!
J.J. Abrams is back with his newest film, Super 8. Once again, the renowned creator had left us shrouded in mystery. We don’t actually see anything concrete in the trailer, nor have the slightest clue about what this is really about. This is what J.J. does. I swear the man could put together a trailer that shows you nothing, while spending the next two years making the movie and we would still be interested! Although I am not one of those fans that bows at the Altar of Abrams, I am interested in what he comes up with. Finding out what the monster was in Cloverfield nearly killed me.
As this is Area 51 related, this can only mean one thing… ALIENS! Also, Super 8 is a motion picture film format that was released back in the mid 1960′s. This film will most likely surround not only what is in the train car, but also what was captured on film and has since been confiscated by the United States government. It looks creepy and interesting. More please?
Here it is, the trailer of Robert Rodriguez’s latest film, Machete. This the second trailer for the film and technically the “official” one. Back when a little movie called Grindhouse came out, Machete was one of the fake trailers that was used a a buffer between Planet Terror and Death Proof. The trailer had such a positive response that Rodriguez moved forward and made a full length feature.
And just in time for Cinco de Mayo!
Danny Trejo stars as Machete along an all-star cast: Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Michelle Rodriguez, Steven Seagal, Lindsay Lohan, Don Johnson and Cheech Marin. This is a cast that is pretty much off the charts.
Honestly, this look AMAZING. Rodriguez understands something fundamental about filmmaking that rivals (if not surpasses) Quentin Tarantino. Let’s also not forget what badass and talented actor that is Danny Trejo. Now he’s going to be the lead in his very own flick!? Sign me up!
It’s Twilight day! I know there are a lot of Twilight related posts today, but I am a fan and I know a lot of people that are, so please bare with me.
I know I’m not the person to break the news on this trailer, but you must check this out! The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is the most action packed of the series and this trailer certainly reminds you that! We are talking wars and fighting of epic proportions. I’m glad this trailer focuses a little less on the Bella-Edward-Jacob love triangle and more epiphysis on action, the newborn vampires, and Victoria.
Note to all the men out there: If you have a lady in your life that loves this series, you will get major brownie points for joining her in the theater with this one. From a male point of view, this will the less painful of the bunch.
Note to the fans: Anyone else LOVE the close of up Jasper fighting?! Reports have surfaced that Jasper’s backstory will be explored and the training/fighting stuff should be awesome.
Just to preface, this is one of the BEST trailers I have seen in a long time. Click here to view the trailer.
The picture literally needed to that big, just for my point to be know. HOW BADASS DOES THIS LOOK?!
This is a Korean made film based on the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. It premiered to amazing reviews that at the Cannes Film Festival back in 2008. Honestly, this looks like an amazing film and I can’t wait to see it. Sadly, I might have to wait awhile.
As of now, this film isn’t going to get a wide release. The limited release has been relegated to New York City. As being a native of the Los Angeles area, I’m very disappointed that it’s not getting a couple of screens on our end of the country. Almost every country gets this movie and we get one city. Oh Americans…
Yes, I know I’m way behind the curve on this one. Try to be patient. I have a big-kid job that keeps me pretty busy. So until, I someone PAYS me to do this kind of thing… I’m going to be behind from time to time.
For those of you who follow my blog, you know that I have been an active Avatar hater since I saw the 25 minutes of exclusive footage at Comic Con. I can now proudly say, that I have been converted to the “dark side.”
This new trailer has something to offer – PLOT! Honestly, this trailer makes it look like there is something actually going on other than millions of dollars spent on special effects. I’m surprised and not all at the same time.
For the most part “awesome” special effects make me yawn unless you have an amazing story as support. I will always firmly believe that the special effects aspect of a film should be supplementry material and not yourmain crutch. With that being said, it would appear that this movie has much more potential than I previously thought.
Please, I have no desire to hear the phrase, “I told you so,” regardless if you think I need to hear it or not. I was proven wrong (for the time being) and find myself pleasantly surprised in the process.
Previously I gave you guys a look at the awesome poster… now I have even more for you kittens. THE TRAILER. The link is above, in case you missed it.
Everyone’s favorite shoot ‘em up cult classic is back. All of the original actors, with the addition of the lovely Julie Benz and Peter Fonda, are on board along with a bigger budget. That can only mean bigger and better fight sequences, explosions, and more bullets flying. Not that a smaller budget stopped them from blowing everything to smithereens the first time around.
The trailer doesn’t tell a whole lot, which I appreciate a lot. Part of the movie going experience is taking the journey. You can’t take that journey if they lay everything out for you.
I am very much looking forward to this one! Sadly, if you want to invite the MacManus brothers back into your life you will have to hunt down a theater that is showing it. Regardless of the amount of screens it will be playing on, I don’t think anything will be able to stop me.
This is something that would’ve completely fallen off my radar had it not been brought to my attention from my movie loving roommate. He encouraged me to take a look at this trailer. According to him, this looks crazy scary.
His other commentary is the way that the trailer was constructed might be less effective in ACTUALLY freaking you out. I have to agree with him.
Paranormal Activity comes to us in the tradition of such films as The Blair Witch Project, Quarantine, and Cloverfield. Meaning, it’s made to look real without actually being real. The trailer didn’t really do it for me. My initial reaction doesn’t make me want to rush to the theaters. More over, it looks kind of cheesy.
It was how I felt about the trailer AFTER that will make me reach for those dollars in my purse in exchange for a ticket.
I can watch just about any horror movie without reacting or freaking out. The issue I have is after I go home I get super paranoid. I see every dark corner as a potential death trap. I lock doors, walk backwards through halls, and turn on every single light available.
This film, although completely fake, will most likely strike an emotion cord. For those of you who saw Cloverfield, you know what I am talking about. I can only assume that the character investment in Paranormal Activity will be just as deep and when all is said and done, the audience will be left out of breathe.
Ellen Page is back. Let’s face it, this girl belongs in Indy films.
This looks pretty simple and neat all at the same time. You’ll get a heartwarming tale of a girl who finds her passion and discovers herself in the process. The cast is great: Ellen Page, Kristin Wiig, Drew Barrymore, Juliette Lewis, Marcia Gay Harden, and Zoe Bell. I have to say that out of this whole list of people, Ellen Page, Kristin Wiig, and Zoe Bell excite me the most. For those non-geeks out there, look up Zoe Bell and become a fan… ASAP.
This film will be the directorial debut for Drew Barrymore. She’s been a producing heavyweight for sometime and officially taking the dive into directing, which seems like the next logical choice. So far, it looks like Drew has made some pretty good choices thus far and Whip It should be a film worth seeing.
