FINALLY!
After months of speculation is has finally and officially confirmed that the fourth book to the Twilight book series, Breaking Dawn, will be split into two movie. As if there was any doubt!
Remember the actor’s fight for more pay? That was a direct result of the plan to split the book. The actors had to renegotiate for the terms of five movies, instead of the original four. Now that everyone’s deals have been closed and the entire cast will be returning, they can officially confirm what we all suspected.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is set to hit theaters November 18, 2011.
Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) is set to direct both installments with production beginning this fall.
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse comes out on June 30th… a mere three weeks away! While we have to wait over a year for the next movie, it means that Twilight will be likely to invade Comic Con again in 2011. AWESOME.
EUGH! The end of the film franchise is going to be terrible (just like it was in the novels)!
SPOILER:
The ending is absoloutly ridiculous! The entire novel is spent building up this amazing army of super-cool vampire powers and packs of non-werewolfs only to spend an hour with Bella having fun with her shield powers while the powers-that-be “talk it out.” The Italians end up walking away, the evil-doers are still in power, and Edward and Bella have crazy vampire sex (ok, this part is not so bad)!
It was just like in Twilight when, right at the climax and long-waited for battle scene, Bella blacks out! Meyer just can’t write bad ass scenes…
Sigh.
