I can’t express enough how much I love Paul Bettany. I seriously think that he is one of the most amazing actors out there who should be a much bigger star than he is. I nearly lost my wits when this was advertised at Comic Con. They showed the full trailer with half the cast on the panel. The footage looks amazing and super intense. Fallen angels with machine guns? I think I might be in heaven!
I will admit that this could turn out to be nothing more than mediocre. The film has a release date of January, which is typically not a good sign. Is it the death toll for a movie? Not necessarily. Post-holiday season isn’t a great release date, but some real gems have come out of it. Anyone remember In Bruges? It happens to be one of my favorite movies of all time.
Also, Doug Jones (the Hellboy films, Pans Labyrinth) makes an appearance in this film and he’s not covered head to toe in make-up!
I am extremely optimistic about this film and all the things that come with it. At the very least it should be a fun ride!

Nothing wrong with seeing angels with guns. I might have to see it.

Apparently God gets sick and tired of our crap. So he decides to take us all out, similar to the whole Noah story. Except a Angel takes pity on us and decides to help, shirtless, with perfect abs, and machine guns!
