I wish I could say that I am excited. No one wants to enjoy a comic book movie more than me. Super hero movies always send fans into frenzy, are you surprised? According to joblo.com, Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire are back for this one, but so far the only ones that we know of. It’s only a teaser, which means New York, spider-web and the number 4.
The real question is, can audiences forgive and forget Spider-man 3? The third installment left a bad taste in my mouth that I’m still not over. That movie should’ve been amazing and could’ve defined a trilogy. Instead it fell short in a way that makes you want to poke your eyes out.
The film is only in development, so they don’t know what they are doing, yet. All that can be said that this movie is happening. With the release date of May 11 2011, it sounds like they need to get in gear and fast. Honestly, I smell the Black Cat making an appearance, but that’s just me. Any other thoughts on who the villain should be?
